The Head-Mounted Camera in Phasmophobia can be used to check for Ghost Orbs. This does require at least two players as the Head-Mounted Camera must be observed from the truck. It is also best to have the person wearing the Head-Mounted Camera turn off their flashlight while looking for Ghost Orbs. Remember the Night Vision mode must be on.
Obviously having someone spend time in the location with their flashlight off will devastate their sanity if they spend too much time in the dark. Overall, having someone there can be useful, but the standard Video Camera or a Tripod-Mounted Video Camera doesn't tank your sanity and doesn't require someone to take extra risks.
