Facepacks & Broomsticks Video Walkthrough Summary
Facepacks & Broomsticks can be a quick and simple mission if you keep these 4 points in mind:
1. You need to break the witches' circle, which will free Firetail
2. You need to get this girl to free Trica. Boo's Fools Errand helps.
3. To free Hogwash either an Ethereal Gift or the guy with the headphones must past through the room.
4 The living room makes a good ambush once things start rolling.
Break the witches' circle to free Firetail
The witches' circle is broken using Raindancer and her Rain power. Breaking the circle will free Firetail.
Tricia is trapped in the mirrorTricia is trapped in the mirror
Tricia is trapped in the mirror in the second floor bathroom. Use Boo's Fool's Errand to send Blair up to look in the mirror.
You need an Ethereal Gift or the guy with the headphones
Hogwash is bound to the Jack-O-Lantern. Free him by either having an electrical item or Ethereal Gift pass by him.
The living room makes a good ambush once things start rolling
Once things are rolling you can move most of your haunters to the living room.
If you break the witches' circle, and then as they enter the kitchen, hit them with a Surge that will put them off balance. Follow that up with a few other good scares and the witches will be so busy running from everything that they won't really bother your haunters.
Fools Errand from Boo is the easy way to free Trica from the mirror. As far as Hogwash is concerned you can try one of two approaches. Fools Errand or Human Torch can scare the guy with the headphones. Then there is a halfway decent chance as he runs in and out of the house he'll pass Hogwash. Or, you can bind Trica in the bathroom downstairs, and have her use Ethereal Gift.
All in all the gift seems to be the most reliable approach.
As soon as Trica is free you can then start hammering on people. Odds are that either an Ethereal Gift or the guy with headphones will pass Hogwash as people start running in and out of the house. Just keep amping up the powers on your haunters, and watch out for anyone that strays upstairs or downstairs. Keep the living room hopping, and it's in the bag.
